Their excuse is safety. More injuries happen in your kitchen then from selling newspapers.<br \/>\n&#8220;We handle the most difficult cases in Broward County.&#8221; Cononie said.<br \/>\nGlen Sadlosfsky, A homeless single father of two boys (10 and 9) who has been in the shelter together with his sons for the past six weeks was full of praise for the shelter. \u201cWe literally would be on the street if it wasn\u2019t for Sean and the shelter\u201d he stated.<br \/>\nBut with a decline in revenue coming in from the sales of the paper, Sadlofsky and other occupants of the homeless shelter are uncertain and fear that they could be homeless again by the New Year.<br \/>\nRevenues from the sale of the Homeless Voice help cover the cost of food, shelter and social services. But as Cononie puts it, without it certain tough decision will be made in 2014 and that would be heavy blow for emergency shelter and medical services.<br \/>\nCononie has therefore called for a long term financial support from Broward cities and hospitals to run the shelter.<br \/>\nSean Cononie, Founder of the Homeless Voice and it&#8217;s shelter system, is seeking new ways to raise money to keep the shelter open. &#8220;We do not rely on the government to help us.
